How to Break a Weight Loss Plateau

This month I haven't lost any weight. I keep hovering around the same weight. Up a couple pounds, down a couple pounds. Nothing drastic, but my momentum is gone. Before, I was consistently losing 4 to 5 pounds every month.

I thought it was because I'd added a few carbs back into my diet (mainly oatmeal). Today one of the doctors that I follow on YouTube said something interesting. He's a big proponent of intermittent fasting, which I haven't really tried yet. He said to try something for just 3 days: no snacking between meals.

Well, OK... so I will try it. Hopefully that works. I don't want to stay at this weight. I'm happy about losing what I've lost so far, but I would really like to lose another 40 pounds (approximately). I promised myself that I would stop losing weight when I reach a point within my recommended BMI range where I feel good about my weight.

I'll let you know what happens. Since I've already had a snack today, the "clock" starts tomorrow! Fingers crossed!
