Fat Bombs: The Unsung Heroes of a Low-Carb Lifestyle If you're following a low-carb or ketogenic diet, you've probably heard the term *fat bomb* tossed around like a secret weapon. People Started Noticing a Difference

So, I've lost around 40 pounds at this point. Did people start noticing it? Yes, almost immediately!

When you start losing weight, I think people first start noticing it because you lose fat in your face. At least, that's what happened with me. My face was a bit chubby, and I definitely had a double chin. I lost that within the first couple of months.

My husband kept telling me that it was obvious I was losing weight, even though I didn't really feel much thinner. The mirror was telling me that my face was less fat, but it wasn't telling me the same story about the extra pounds around my middle. The scale was definitely telling me that I was losing weight, but I guess I was losing it sort of all over, because I didn't see a big difference in the mirror.

My clothes, however, were starting to get really loose. I had to take a lot of things in, and I bought 2 new pairs of jeans because my "skin tight" stretchy jeans were so loose on me that they looked weird. Especially at the knee. LOL!

Nobody was really saying anything to me, though. I finally figured out it's because they thought it would be rude to talk about someone else's weight, especially to their face. Hubby continued to encourage me, saying that people had noticed and were happy for me. I almost didn't believe him, but finally one evening we were chatting with friends at a coffee place where we often go, and the subject of dieting came up. I mentioned my new, healthy way of eating, and how much weight I'd lost, and one of the ladies said that it definitely showed and that they had noticed.
